Born in Azerbaijan and immigrating to the United States at the age of 8, Alex's journey has been one of resilience and determination. After enlisting in the Army in 2007, he quickly rose through the ranks, earning a commission as an Army Quartermaster Officer through Middle Tennessee State University's Reserved Officer Training Corps (ROTC) program. With multiple combat deployments and assignments that have taken him across the globe, Alex has demonstrated his unwavering commitment to serving others. In 2023, after 16 years of Active Duty, Alex transitioned to the Army Reserves where he continues to serve as a commander.

Alongside his military career, Alex is also a co-owner of HGB Construction, a licensed and bonded general contractor company that oversees over $100 million in new development. He is the founder of TheHouseBuyinGuys, which currently conducts real estate projects in southern Florida. Through his ventures, Alex has not only provided valuable services to the community but has also created thriving assets that benefit both investors and the local residents.

The challenges posed by the COVID-19 pandemic did not deter Alex and his team. They faced the obstacle of sourcing high-quality materials at reasonable prices, often dealing with long lead times and inconsistent pricing. Recognizing the impact these obstacles had on their projects and those of their colleagues, Alex took initiative and founded HBG Supply in 2020. This venture aimed to provide a reliable source of building materials with competitive pricing and fast lead times, ensuring the continued success of their endeavors.
